Roles and responsibilities:
Review ICD-10 codes to ensure correct clinical category mapping
Identify missed reimbursement opportunities across PT/OT, SLP, NTA, Nursing, and Functional Scoring
Ensure therapy services and clinical documentation are properly aligned
Utilize CMS tools, the RAI Manual, and internal protocols to maintain regulatory compliance
Thoroughly scrub assessments prior to submission for completeness and accuracy
Current and valid PHRN license
6 months work experience in a clinical setting
Knowledge with EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Healthcare Records)
Knowledge with MDS coding is a PLUS
Strong knowledge of prehospital patient care protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good Verbal and Written English Communication Skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Willing to work on shifting schedule.
