Job Description
Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) globally drives expansion of the company’s intellectual properties, franchises, characters and stories through innovative physical and digital products, content, and consumer experiences. Along with franchise brand management, UP&E’s core businesses include Consumer Products and Games and Digital Platforms based on the company’s extensive portfolio of intellectual properties created by Universal Pictures, Illumination and DreamWorks Animation. Based in our Paris office, you will be integrated to the Fashion & Living and Food, Beauty & Care Category Management team.
1. Operational Support
Assist the France and Benelux Fashion & Living and Food, Beauty & Care Senior Category Manager with daily operations related to categories and retail, including meeting coordination and presentation preparation.
2. Market Research and Analysis
Support in market and trend research, monitoring key partners’ and competitors’ marketing activities, and tracking industry innovations.
3. Commercial Support
Assist with business reviews, pitches, and presentations.
4. Decks / Product Books
Help maintain and update F&L and FBC licensing Product Books, and create Storecheck presentations, and source online images of current and potential new partners, as well as retail activations.
5. Internal Administration
Manage internal administrative processes, including legal, financial, and accounting matters, creative workflows, and category tasks.
Qualifications
- Available for a 6 months internship with an internship agreement provided by your school.
- Fluent in French and English, Dutch a plus.
- Strong interest in Consumer Products, Licensing, Fashion & Living and Food Beauyty Care industries with passion for creative and commercial relationships.
- Enthusiasm for product, trends, and innovation; interest in film, TV and digital content is a plus.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Confident communicator with organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Willingness to learn, with the ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
- Strong sense of team spirit and an all-round positive attitude.
