About the role
We are looking for a Pre-Match Trader with a strong passion for esports and a sharp numerical mindset. The role is part of the Pre-Event Esports Trading team, focused on delivering a high-quality pre-match product.
You will also play a key role in shaping coverage strategy and will be responsible for scheduling shifts to ensure optimal live coverage and consistent 24⁄7 operational support.

What you will do
Compile odds and oversee pre-match pricing for esports events across all tiers
Ensure consistency and accuracy of pre-match markets in line with trading strategy and pricing frameworks
Drive coverage decisions, determining which tournaments and matches should be covered
Translate game knowledge, statistical analysis, and market intelligence into high-quality prices and trading decisions
Identify and act on key factors impacting pricing, including meta shifts, roster changes, and patch updates
Support resource planning and scheduling to ensure consistent coverage of a global 24⁄7 esports calendar.
Work closely with analytics to improve pricing tools, automation, and workflows
Proactively investigate and resolve any operational issues (live scheduling/settlements/event creation) in a timely manner, escalating where appropriate
Contribute insights on game mechanics, team performance, and tournament structures
Your skills will include
3+ years of experience in esports trading with strong knowledge of at least one major esports title
Proven experience in pre-match odds compilation and pricing, with the ability to build and manage markets independently rather than relying solely on external market movements
Strong understanding of key esports performance drivers, including roster changes, map pools, patch updates, meta shifts, tournament formats, and scheduling dynamics
Ability to identify pricing inefficiencies and challenge model outputs through data analysis, market monitoring, and trader judgment
Strong numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills with a disciplined and structured approach to pricing and market execution
Ability to manage multiple events, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced, 24⁄7 esports environment
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and reliability in decision-making and delivery
Upper-intermediate level of English (B2+) or higher
Flexibility to work around global esports schedules and key tournament timings
Knowledge & experience
Esports enthusiast
Deep knowledge of esports, including game mechanics and intricacies, as well as the tournament aspect (tournaments, teams, their compositions, and results)
Experience mentoring junior traders
